We believe in the value of being planted in a local church. While every Christian is automatically a member of the global body of Christ, the New Testament describes believers joined together in a local assembly.
While anyone is always welcome to join us for worship and to receive ministry at our gatherings, membership provides an intentional way for people to call Threshold their home church. It is also a great way to get more connected in our church family!
Requirements for Membership:
To become a member of Threshold Church, you must:
- Be a born-again believer who has repented of sin, placed your faith in Jesus for salvation, and submitted to Him as Lord.
- Have been water baptized (or if not, willing to do so).
- Walk in agreement with Threshold’s basic statement of faith.
The Membership Process:
We believe that people should take time to pray and discern which church God is leading them to call home. If you believe that Threshold is where you are supposed to plant, here is the process for becoming a member:
1. Discover Threshold
This step has two parts. First, you will watch a video series that explains the history, vision, leadership, and beliefs of Threshold. Then, you will join for a meet and greet before church with the staff and elders for connection and Q and A. For more information or to sign up for the video series, email info@threshold-church.com.
2. Membership Application
Once finishing the Discover Threshold step, if you desire to become a member, fill out the membership application. This is your way of expressing your desire for membership and allows us to get to know you better.

3. Meet with an Elder
Once we receive your application, someone from the elder team will reach out to you to set up a time to meet. This allows the process to be more personal, helps us get to know you, and allows you to ask any questions you might have.
