We are excited to formally announce our new location! For the last several weeks, we have been meeting on Sunday nights at Living Hope Community Church’s building. We are now entering into an arrangement to use LHCC’s building in a more long-term way.
We are looking forward to having a special Pentecost Service this Sunday night. Pentecost is a time to remember and celebrate the first outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the early church. We also desire to seek and receive a fresh filling and empowering work of the Spirit in our lives today. We need this now more than ever!
A Two – Week Challenge
Hi Threshold kids and families!
If you are looking for some creative ways to engage with others during this time and encourage giving, join in for the Gifts of Love Challenge for the next two weeks, April 19th – May 2nd! When we think of others and reach out to share God’s love by giving of our time and talents, it can also bring us a lot of joy as we are created to be loved and to love! A simple gift of a card or drawing can be meaningful to others especially during this time of the coronavirus pandemic when we are all in our homes.
We are excited to announce that we are now meeting weekly at Living Hope’s building for times of worship and prayer. We will also continue to have a variety of prayer gatherings happening throughout the week.
We wanted to reach out to let you know that we are having a Zoom meeting to share more about what’s happening at Threshold during this time. In the midst of the unprecedented and unpredictable COVID-19 crisis, we have had to make some decisions on how best to respond and move forward. We believe that the Lord has given us a long-term plan for how to walk through this season and reemerge on the other side even stronger than before.
Our associate pastor, Jeremy Eshleman, has organized the Love Your Neighbor Challenge and tomorrow is the first day! The circumstances around us have changed, but that doesn’t mean we can move the mission of God to the back burner.
