We are excited that our annual summer picnic and water baptism service is coming up on Sunday, July 29th! Instead of meeting at our regular location, our Sunday service will be held at Hoover Pond (see address below). There will be a time of worship, a short message, and water baptisms, followed by lunch and fellowship together.
We are excited to announce the addition of Esther Miller to the Threshold team!
Esther has joined our staff as an administrative assistant. She will be working closely with our church administrator, Laura Andrews, to assist in the day-to-day activities of Threshold. She will be involved in organization, events, communications, and other important roles.
Threshold’s next Discover Group will be starting on Sunday, April 15th! Hosted by pastor Jake and Anna Kail, the Discover Group is for newcomers and those who desire to be more connected in the Threshold body. It also the first step in membership at Threshold (although attending the Discover Group does not obligate you to become a member).
Time invested in our children is never wasted. The Submerged Summer Kids Event is another opportunity to pour into and value our children in a greater way.
The following is an update from pastor Jake:
As a church family, we have launched into a deeper focus on prayer. This is not just a season–something that comes and goes–but something that is being established in our very foundation.
This past Sunday, we announced that we will be moving our Sunday morning services from Penn Manor High School to Manor Middle School. This change will start on Sunday, April 1st (no, this is NOT an April fools joke!!).
