Join the Prison Ministry Outreach Team!
We’re excited to announce a new local outreach opportunity that is coming soon! We value God’s mission in the world, and are gathering a team who will minister on a regular basis at the Lancaster County Prison.
Jesus said that when we visit those in prison, it is as if we are visiting Him (see Matthew 25:36-40). We are looking for a team of people (6-10 minimum) who feel called to be a part of this prison outreach team. We want to bring the love and light of Jesus into a dark and hopeless place, to see lives transformed and captives set free!
Some Details…
- There are multiple ways to get involved: coordinating, worship leading, preaching, counseling, praying, and more!
- We will be on a rotation with the prison (perhaps monthly, or quarterly, etc.) depending on team commitment and schedule openings.
- Not every member of the team must go every time.
Informational Meetings
For the next several Sundays, we will hold a brief informational meeting directly following the church service, for anyone interested in joining this team. Plan to attend one of these meetings if you are interested in getting involved or finding out more!
